500SE Register - what happened?

Last year there was discussion about having a register for the last 100, and someone was developing a website dedicated to the 500SE.
Does anyone know what progress has been made with these plans? I pretty much continue to use PH/TVRCC/thegriffith pages as my sources of info, but there are obvious cosmetic and engineering differences between the last 100 and their forebears, so it would be useful to compare notes with other SE owners.

There is a website, here www.griffith500se.co.uk, but nothing has happened for over 18 months. There was a thread about it & I thought a register had been started, but I heard no more.

I seem to remeber that one was set on fire by vandals? This should not be that hard - there were quite a few at the Growl and anyone on TVRCC should come across some more maybe?

what about adding it as an extra section of Griffith pages rather than another site?

I am hapy to do that, Currently though if you register then you can use the register to search to show only the 500LE's along with 500's 4.O, 4.3, 4.3BV and 4.5's.

Which is a shame but , is nearly 20% and at the moment I would say The Griffith Pages has 278 owners registered which is probably!!! 20% of cars on the road, spread the word guys lets get more registered

Like I said happy to try and do something seperate to get a full list, open to ideas. Would want to keep it on the site rather than a seperate one. Maybe a menu on the left?

BB, I think your site is probably the best place for it - it was only that someone had set up a site & got the domain name that I thought things might be happening in that direction.
When it comes down to it, we still go back to the familiar well-established sites in the end.

I Knew of the site and checked it out now and again but nothing has materialised which is a shame. I like these Griffith sites too 4.3bv.com and warks-tvr

There is also one in Belgium, but I don't know the number. I think it was one of the later ones.

The Griffith 500 SE Website www.griffith500se.co.uk/ is still being developed and is nearing completion. It has taken more time than expected, due to other commitments, but it won't be long now.

The website is being developed by my son Chris ( cdt ) and whilst he was doing this, I have been gathering information about the last 100 and have now got details of 48 of them.

Don't give up! It wont be long now.

I`m picking number 65 up tomorrow morning

I think that the red one at Fennies was number 57. It went out to its new owner last saturday whilst i was down there.
