I purchased a “Gruppe M” induction kit for the 355 M5.2 last week from Manu at “Scuderia Systems”.

It was supplied with impeccable efficiency by Manu, even to the point of arranging for Kenny the MD of Gruppe M to deliver the system next day in person!!

After a very interesting discussion with Manu & Kenny, I took delivery of what could almost be described as “Induction Art”!!

Fitting was easy took about an hour, everything is beautifully presented, manufactured & a perfect fit. If you can’t fit it yourself you must have two left hands. It’s a snack!

Performance, no massive gains in power, but it does improve the torque curve as illustrated in the sample dyno’ curves. The pick up underload at 3 to 4K rpm is smoother and stronger without the hesitation that these cars can have when running at a constant throttle at these rpms.

It’s a definite improvement, but of the subtle variety rather than the immediate “in your face” change that occurs when you Tubi & test pipe.

Under bonnet visual is “bella, bella” it is certainly a lovely looking bit of kit.

I would recommend it, and any questions happily answered!

Bernard - is it really noticeable ?? Do you really think the gains are worth the investment....or be honest - were you a little disappointed to start with hoping that there would have been a little more 'oomph' for your money...I want to get this done too but waswaiting for you write up on it first....

Hi Basher,

Yes it does cost quite a lot! The gains are relatively subtle, on Saturday a friend drove the car who has experience of driving 100’s of Ferrari’s so is used to the performance, throttle response of 355’s, 360’s etc……

He felt that there was a noticeable improvement, but is it an improvement large enough to justify the price? A very personnel decision?

Please telephone me at work, and I’m happy to discuss, ask Manu for the number.
