Mr D (jondokic) emailed me and asked me to post this. I have no idea what it relates to:
"I recently posted a personal comment relating to another PHer. My ignorant post and the comment I made may have been deeply hurtful to the person concerned. I sincerely apologise to him or her (who I will not identify for fear of causing embarrasment-but I am sure he or she will recognise to what I refer) for any offense or upset caused. Harmless ribbing of others serves a role in public forums, but my comment was totally uncalled for and I am very ashamed and sorry."
