Totally loving my RHD 993 RS Clubsport since I put it on a more road biased tyre...only problem is now i have a spare set of track tyres and want to get some rims to put them on...easy you say everyone does 18" RS split rim replicas...ah i say but i want originals...easy you say, we know someone who has some just be prepared to pay for them...ah i say but my car has the single bolt hubs on it to go with the BBS race wheels...so i need a set of single bolt 18" RS Split-rims to put my road tyres on so i can have the trackies on the BBS's...

...but there's bound to be a pistonheader out there who knows the answer...

you need speedline cup wheels,as fitted to the cup cars, mag centres/spyders.
Or bbs race wheels, spec 993 cup centre locks with same size off sets etc.

I would go with the BBS centre lock myself, although they are strong the Speedlines are so heavy, I have the 5 stud version on mine and can't wait to get something lighter fitted.

Which Rhd clubsport did you buy, was it the Polar Silver one????

Has to be the BBS option surely? Probably cheaper as well as much lighter. Just look right on a 993 RS.

Centre locks? They look like the standard RS 5 stud bolt on versions? Cup centre lock speedlines, still have the 5 stud holes solid and undrilled in the casting.

By the way folks, gotta love the idea of centre locks. Are they road legal? I heard somewhere that they weren't. Would a hub conversion to centre locks be expenive? Would go well with my airjacks!!

Must be road legal, Morgan Aero 8 (series 1) had centre locks (and magnesium wheels actually)...

Out of interest how are you powering the air jacks?

It takes 26bar to get them up normally so a compressor won't do.

Both sets that Paul Mc has up for sale are the 5 stud, standard versions not the centre bolt as fitted to Cup. Good place to start asking though.....but as others said surely makes more sense to go BBS route.

Johnny...don't leave the car up in the air for too long mate...those wheels might go walkabout

Aye, I rent a 4 foot tall bottle of nitrogen from BOC. I bought a regulatoor and high pressure hosing from them as well (very helpful folks: Wallsend, Newcastle upon Tyne). From memory I think it takes 400 PSI to lift the car. Seriously high pressure.
