Anyone done this? What is the donor car. I have a set of MR2 seats that will need some serious pan mods so I was wondering if anyone has used something else. The stock seats just suck for support.

Chimaera and griff seats go straight in with the sill-stepping plates off the originals, and are better support wise. Real full leather too.

The seats in the revised sagaris are very nice (not sure if they are different to the original sagaris?). Probably a little expensive until the first one is written off and ends up in a breakers yard.

Don't think Sagaris' made it across the ocean either.

txcoyote, I'd try to get the originals restored, or bolt different seats to the Tiv bases.

I've seen that Fiero seats work well in wedges, but haven't tried them. Maybe a search of Texas junkyards might help. JMH

Actually I settled on a pair of MR2 seats that I had. They fit perfect other than a bulge in the bottom pan, which will be cut out and rewelded. I'll post some pics when they are done in November.
