Worthwhile modifications

Just thinking chaps, the winter months will soon be upon us.

What better way to spend the long, cold, dark nights than tucked up in a warm, cosy garage 'improving' the old Wedge. (OK I'll concede that a crate of 'wife beater' and 3 buxom blondes might give the Tiv a run for it's money )

What modifications have you carried out on yours?

Were they worth doing?

Not sure if it is needed on a 350 but an airlock bleed at the highest point near the heater matrix. Did it on the 400 and them pesky airlocks are banished in a thrice.

Rebore the 350 and replace with a 4.6.. now we are talking..

ACT Twin plenum and a mapped ignition..

T piece with a bleed screw in the top. Just buy the copper bits that fit your pipes from a plumbing merchant and solder up yourselves. £2 ish I think?

I wish funds would allow. SWMBO want's to re-decorate the bl00dy house.

PS anyone fitted an LS1 motor to a wedge

LS1 won't fit - chassis too narrow for the exhaust pipes.

SB Ford V8 will fit though.

Is that the 4.6 Mustang V8?

Supercharger?

Better front brake pads?

Dot 5 brake fluid?

Rebush the rear end with poly bushes and adjust the rear shocks to match.
