97 > 01 Carrera 3387 / 6 300 170 5.8 23
01> Carrera 2 3596 / 6 320 177 4.8 25 20

Are these stats correct, how can an extra 20bhp take the 0-60 down by over a second, it's not even lost weight.

Is it worth saving for a >2001 car. 99 & 00 are now within budget... Both are 996's??

That 01 0-60 figure is not correct, it's more like 5.2-5.3seconds, the Boxster S out then was 5.9, and i know
there's was more than half a second difference in it when i had one....

The 01> 0-60 looks a bit low, think it's around 5 dead or maybe 5.1.

last time i read evo mag, which was a while ago, it had the 3.4 as the quicker to 60, thought it was a mistake.
