Anyone got one - ?
Gotta be a must if you're doing a full resto job - unless you have lift of course ...

These look really good - but wonder on the shipping costs from the States ...
ANyone got something similar - look really easy to use - I'm thinking I could do with one of these and then sell it on when done ... never see them for sale in the UK stand a reasonable chance of getting your money back.
I've seen those things that connect to the hub and turn the car 90° - they just don't look as safe.

Make your own out of two modified engine stands, or www.frost.co.uk/item_Detail.asp?productID=9023 for lots more money.

Friend of mine designed and built his own. It needs a little modding to be perfect though. The center of gravity is not quite right and takes several people to turn.As you can see from one of the pictures, the shell sits very high and could do with be lower. Here's the link to the thread he posted on another forum. I think he may have the plans for this,if you want me to ask.

I've seen one of these that is like two beams that you bolt onto the bottom of the car.
Basically you jack the car up, assemble the beams onto the bottom of the car. The beams have a curved end on them, such that when the car is normally oriented the beam runs under the car and rolls round vertically up the side of the door.
Once fitted, you drop the car onto the beams, and you can roll the car onto it's side, without it ever touching the ground.
