Just been on ebay and theres a 4.4 v8 Diesel Range Rover engine starting at £2K.I wonder what 500ftlb of torque would be like!,think you might need to bin the T5 and go to a TKO,still mines got 430ftlb going through it and seems to be holding together( due to my very subdued driving style!)

God no! I wouldn't dream of putting one in, although if I did it would be a griff as it would wind more people up!
Heard it in the RR Sport and it's definately got that V8 rumble, bit subdued but it's there.
Just seen that advert on ebay, that engine has to be nicked! The sump on it is for the RR Sport and that doesn't get released until early next year. Also the engine is a 3.6litre aswell. May have to see if any of the 1000hr test engines have gone missing!
Phil,did you find out if this was one of your engines!,if you have any more spare I was going to put my spare 500 engine in my 110,but one of these beasts would be better!.

Thing is, at least now the Chim drivers KNOW what has just passed them ... with that Audi diesel in it it would be "what the ... whawastha?"
