Dear All,
Sorry Steve I couldn't resist. Notice how the 360 pulls away on the straight bits but when it gets bendy.....

Nice clip Paul. The thing you really notice is how much better you are on the brakes than the 360 driver.

Damned good video Paul! You can see the Noble's poise through the corners versus the 360's bulk/weight but it looks like the Fezzer has the legs on you in a straight line.

ps - I cheered loudly when you overtook the first time!

Bloody sales reps get worse. That poor sods spent all his life saving up to buy a CS and then some bloke reading a paper, smoking a fag whilst on the phone goes past him in a souped up Mondeo. Bloody reps.

Nice vid. What were the final race results? Its the results that matter is it not. Also when the video says "later" this clearly shows that the CS overtook you earlyer. Its as they say down to the driver of each car. if all was equil in driving ability then this video would ot exist.

Paul,
Excellent driving. Having done my one track day at Donnington (clearly an expert) I can’t believe how you could get into some of the corners so fast when overtaking off line going in.

If you look at the correct (Donington) endurace race results you'll find the Sunbeam Tigers were 1st and 2nd.

AFAIK he wasnt smoking a fag. Neither was the Mondeo souped up. Agree, that must really suck -saving your whole life for a Fiat, to have your butt kicked by a lout in a repmobile.

Or a more sensible reply...

Hats off to the guy in the beautiful Ferrari 360CS who had the balls to actually enter his P&J into a proper race at Donington, rather than just pose in it up and down the King's Road. Granted he wasn't using the car's undoubted capabilities to the full, but you can't blame anyone for not turning off that little 'I don't care what happens to it' switch in the brain which is neccessary to be really competetive.
