Head for Donington next weekend
Join the Great & British Motorsport Festival
Dunlop’s Great & British Motorsport Festivals are about to reach a climax with a full day of track action at Donington on 22 October.
Mini Miglia, Mini Seven and Classic Touring Cars join the regular Great and British bill of Mini Cooper, Radical and Ginetta for the finale.
The first 100 Mini drivers to arrive at the circuit will be given access to the track during the lunch break to embark on a Mini adventure of their own.
Dunlop is offering a limited edition gift bag for the first 100 Mini drivers to arrive at Donington and the first 1000 people through the main gate will receive a Dunlop winners cap.
Tickets for the Mini festival are £12 and Dunlop is offering a two-for-one ticket deal both for the festival and entry to the Donington Grand Prix Collection (usually £7 per person), which offers the world’s largest collection of Grand Prix racing cars. Shuttle buses will be running from the circuit to the museum.
Is she any good? always seems to be right at or near the back - I know the car is several years out of date now - not the Rape Seed type fuel as MG ahev proved there is no real difference apart from having to carry a tad more of the stuff.
Well Paul O Neil took over the car after Fiona left the team for reasons which I can't go into now, (But the offical reason of Budget problems wasn't actually the case.) and he hasn't managed any better results. He got an 8th in one of the races last weekend, but that was after several cars went out and Fiona got a 5th place at Silverstone last year in similar circumstances. She has won several EERC and MGCC races in the past and has only been racing since 2003. She has also been very competitive in the Mini Challenge races that she is racing in next weekend when the car hasn't let her down. She has had awful luck in general though this season suffering mechanical problems at some point in every race meeting she has entered this season.
Is that this Golf?
