I changed my thermostat and otter switch earlier this year, now my temp gauge seems to be acting up nothing seems to relate, it only reads about 60'C when the stat opens. I've read somewhere that you can use another temp sender on the top of the block rather than me having to replace the old one. Something to do with a resistor.
Does anyone know anything about this?

Many on here have "switched" not sure why they are not seeing the question. You can use the spare sender on top of the head, next to the ECU sender, usually 120 ohm is "about right", but if you use a variable 200 you can "get it right". I have details if you mail me. Why a change of stat? i understand otter but water stats are pretty reliable, not "runs too cold in winter" ?.
