MPEG file editing

Yo.

I'd like to be able to adjust the gamma and colour balance on some of the Mpeg video files on my laptop.

Anyone know of a good preferably freebie programme?

Ta.

Incidentally - I used to mess around with Asymetrix Digital Video Producer but this won't open Mpeg files.

Can you not do that is the freebie Windows movie maker.

Can't see a way to adjust gamma or colour in Movie Maker.

Sorry thought it did, think I was getting confused with a trial one I downloaded a few week ago.

I'll try and see if I can find a link.
