I have found a nice 1u server case and intend to put a nice motherboard in it. Trouble is it is ATX and not eATX (and a standard PSU will not fit). So I am going to chop the cable and do a spot of soldering.

Well I think its eATX it is a ATX looking PSU but has 24pins instead of 20.

Anyone got the pinouts please? I have googled but cannot find it.

Sorry, I typed a load of arse there... you mean the box will not physically fit into the case, doh. Anyway google sez this: www.helpwithpcs.com/courses/power-supply-basics-inc-pinouts.htm

First 20 pins are the same BTW, the four on the end are extras and generally optional.

3rd edit!
thumbup if eATX is 99% like ATX I will give it a go. As long as I can find the poweron signal I can put a dummy load to keep the PSU running and then check it all with a meter.

Just seems a shame to waste a good case.

IIRC its green to power-on, check the keying on the pins too the first 20 should match. Your right though checking with a meter as well is probaby quite sensible
