I got a 500 today - yipeeeeeeeeeee!!! However, whilst having a look arounnd it and getting used to the switchgear, I can't find the switch for the heated seats (apparantly it's got them and there is wiring going in the seats) - any ideas anyone?

Dunno if I'll ever use them though!

Any help gratefully received!

The only button I can find under there is the boot release.

Ray,

Is that in addition to the boot release button?

The boot release is mounted on the dash, underneath it, and the heated seat switch is on the steering column shroud right next to where you put your key in. Its the same style and size switch as the boot release switch.Well it is on mine. Maybe ask who you bought it off?

Ah so that is what the mysterious switch on my
steering cowl is. Nice surprise to find I have
heated seats as the previous owner didn't know
what the switch was either.

Yep! Boot hinges and all. I hope it turns out to be ok, you never really know until you've had a car for a little while do you?
