Did anyone see "Cold Feet" last night (Sunday)?

I thought that the car crash scene was probably better than any Public Information Film made.

I was starting to get a bit annoyed with first Adam and then Rachel merrily driving around one-handed with a mobile phone clamped to their ear and thought that it was a bit irresponsible of the programme makers.

Then the car crash happens because she is not concentrating, having just finished a call and then looking for a tape.

If the government concentrated on this message - that "inattention kills", rather than "speed kills" - then perhaps many of us would have a bit more respect for it.

So who died? Went to bed early and forgot to tape it for the wife!

Agreed, it was well done. You could tell it was coming because she kept telling him that she loved him

Yeah kept us entertained for 10 mins quessing who was going to have a crash.... as there was no way the TV bods would let someone use the phone in the car that much without stacking it....

interesting end to the series though...

Bugger! Damn and Blast. I've not finished watching it yet... Now, I've got to go and do that rather than work! (or rather read Pistonheads)

Rather depressing ending . . though felt better at seeing the actors looking bright and well on GMTV this morning . .

Erm, it's fiction robkola Used to watch Cold Feet to cheer myself up ! Hard to imagine based on this series. Is this the final one ? Feels like time they stopped as it's getting a bit Friends-like ie not enough ideas & they've run out of heterosexual coupling possibilities.

They've said it's the final series. I've always watched it wtih my wife and the first two series were fun. It started to get rather darker last series and this one has intensified that trend.

I'm glad they didn't try to make it a speeding-related crash. They went out of their way to show that she was driving like an utter numpty, so it might make some people stop and think. She must have been looking away from the road for 50 seconds in the last minute before the crash.

Hence the emphasized "smiley" in my post . . .!

I think the plot was given away before this season started . . . not quite as secretive as "Coronation Street" with its 17 endings ..

Next week is the final one of "Cold Feet" . . . when Rachel returns from teh dead just as she's being buried and Pete's secong marriage was a ll a dream and he's still with Jenny . . and . . . :takesabreakfromhisdesketc:

Very well done, especially as the lorry seems to be in the background and then suddenly hits her broadside.

Incidentally, where did the BMW estate suddenly come from? I though the SAAB was his.

I believe they filmed 4 different endings, one of which was Adam getting a terminal relapse on his testicular cancer. Obviously another was the car crash one that they actually used, and I don't know what the other 2 were.

As has been said, I'm glad they didn't bring speeding into the crash in any way, and for that they deserve much respect.

Is it fair to say at this point? There may be some people who taped it and haven't watched it yet. I've given clues but have refrained from saying explicitly.

If you've read this far and either don't know or don't want to know, you are stupid and deserve to know.

Rachel's dead!

I think I covered another one of the endings . . about it all being a dream etc . . .

For those that missed it, Sunday's episode of Cold Feet is repeated on ITV2 on Thursday night at 9... Or thereabouts.

If anyone doesn't have the technology to watch ITV2, then I could record it...
