Mail on Sunday speed cameras coverage

The daily Mail isn't my favourite newspaper but i couldn't help stumbling across this

Can you beleive it the Scamera people have got caught by under cover camera's :-)
They are now exposed for what they really are, unaccountable empires soley for the purpose of revenue generation.
Hard not to be perturbed by this kind of thing, as motorists we should protest with direct action!!!!

Is it indicative of all those who work in SCPs or is it the unguarded comments of a couple telling someone who is looking to buy somethings what they want to hear ?
Were those who made the comments just led down the path by undercover reporters ?
Can we cover our costs ?
Can we assure that we do it ?
I don't think that anyone would deny that cameras are used because for a government, they are Policing on the cheap & very cost effective (apart of course from those offending).
But an expose like this in reality, shows little more (IMHO) than a couple of people can be gullibly led into telling a reporter what they want to hear, for what may (if a transcript of the whole time spent together were transcribed) be no more than a brief period out of days.
No doubt cameras can be used by the unscrupulous just for financial gain, but this report doesn't mean that all those working in SCPs are doing so. Just like any previous expose we have seen in papers with other matters, didn't mean that everyone working in that field was rotten to the core.
