Battery Troubles

Hi,

Just got back from my hol's and the Griff is totally dead

I've got the accumate charger in the boot, but never used it as I've never before had access to power in the garage (soon to be rectified!!)

So, question is, how long will it take to charge, or is my battery now dead? It's been plugged in for a couple of hours, and I've got power to the dash now, but the battery reading is still only showing 10.5 volts

It's sunny and I want to drive the Tiv, please help!

Hi Karl,

I guess it depends on your charger type !?!? Mine is just an ordinary charger and have left it over night to fully charge in the past (it has a cut out facility when it reaches full charge). I think quick chargers can do it in just a few hours.

Full discharge of a car battery isn't good for it but if it was in good condition before it should recover.

I hope you manage to get out for a blast at some point today ...
