Has anyone had their drivers seat lowered at all, replaced the seat or had some padding taken out? On test drives at the weekend the seat itself was perfectly comfortable but way way too high. I'm assuming nothing can be done because of the motors underneath?
I don't think so yet... I guess anything is gonna feel high after a noble lol although I do recall some press magazines commenting on the overly high driving position...
Thanks Dan, yep in the Noble you sit on the floor!, but my daily work hack is a Mondeo and thats definately lower as is my wifes CLS which is spot on. I can't honestly remember my HSV being quite as high as that. What may make a bit of a difference would be that the car I drove was brand new, maybe they squash down a little after a while, as a 10,000 miler I drove didn't seem so bad.
Yeh possibly there is a 'sqush down effect', The HSV GTS and GTSR seats are very very nice but can't comment on whether they are any lower than the VXR ones.
