HAd a few cheapies in the past and they have all crashed, so did some research and found the LEXAR Jump drives were one of the most relable out there.

Looks cool as well

To be honest, any decent one will be reliable, what you want is one with a decent physical design - i.e. resilient, small and without a cap you will lose very quickly.

My company went for 2GB LG units with retractable USB connector - they're very small (even smaller with the USB connector retracted) and there is no cap to lose.

I'm also a fan of (though I've never owned one myself) the 4GB Corsair Voyager units as they're rubber coated and appear pretty resilient.

Hope that helps.

Many thanks. I'll probably go for the Corsair one.

Did you know you can use them for portable apps !

People download web browsers / email clients even Linux on to them so they have access to their
favourite programs (albeit cut down/lite versions)

The advantage is that you won't leave traces of where you've been on a public machine (library / internet cafe e.t.c,).

Check this link out:

Kingmax USB drive... absolutely miniscule, virtually indestructible (I've had it in my pocket on my car keys all day every day, banging against everything for the last 6 months), and cheap:

hehe There are no short & curlys on my fingers, I tell you! No wolf-hands here.

Wouldn't put a big frickin' leather strap on a pen drive the size of a pin-head, either - that seems more than a little pointless.
