power steering pump

Hi does any one know if the power pump is a rover item when mine chewed the belt some ended up wrapped round the pump and melted the outer seal.Its not leaking so I am thinking its just a dust seal on the out side but its now spinning with the pulley and needs replacing any thoughts Cheers Jason
