From what I gather on this forum, most seem to say that the Fabspeed is too loud, a few people have recommended Tubi or cargraphic systems.

Trust me on this, the knoledge came out my pocket. You get what you pay for here. Cargraphic or Europipe, I chose the latest throwing money away in the process trying less expensive exausts with nothing but poor quality and DRONE like a Vauxhall Nova. Go to www.europipe.be and talk to Stefan he will sort you out. Anything else will fall short of Porsche quality. One more thing cargraphic or EP aleays go for quiet, they're loud enough for us here in this part of the world.

P.S. The 200cel BS is an excuse for the lower grade exhaust makers. The tri-metal German 100cel catalists will last as long as your engine and will provide unmatched performance, the problem is that once again you pay what you get and a set of these 100cel metal catalists cost more that 1200€ (JUST THE CORES).

I was also advised to go for 200 cell cats instead of 100 cells.

It really comes down to personal preference and in most cases, if you like them nice and loud you will generally get good performance.

My Fabspeed moderate was tested against another 6 leaders (see if I can find link again) and Fabspeed come out top for improved performance, the downside was the noise (resonance) around 2.5k mark, yes they can be pretty loud, but hey, the sound when you pin it is unreal.

The brackets holding the Fabspeed system could have been built a little bit better.

I reckon you'll be struggling to get anything nearly as quiet and civilised as the standard one...

Im happy for it to be louder than standard exhaust, which is v quiet on the tt as you know..Also the standard pipe is restrictive especially with an ecu upgrade..i just dont want it so loud that it becomes too obtrusive..i have heard that some pipes resonate at certain rpm and that 100 cell cats can cause problems.Dms do a 200 cell cat pipe so i shall probably go with that one.
