Im in the process on getting my GT3 alloys refubishment and as I was casting a hyper critical eye over them this weekend
looked at the calipers and thought that cosmetically they look a little tired, has anyone had theirs painted or powder coated?, as the replacement cost really doesnt justify getting spent for such a cosmetic reason.

You can get caliper paint from Halfords.

Or ninemeister will repaint them for you proper-like.

It is always worth refurbing them if off, as seals and pistons can need replacing.

If you are doing it yourself, you could use Foliatech paint as I did, or you could offload teh work and get someone else to powder coat them, as above though take a look at the dust seals etc, they may well need replacing.

..after your wheels and calipers have been refurbed, the next scruffy area that will stand out will be the disk rotor 'hats'.

Does anyone know the exact colour to return them to the OEM 'battlehship grey' colour - in my experience, this area looks scruffy long before the actual disks themselves are worn out.

Note to self: Must brake harder and consume brake disks faster!
