Steering wheel ribbon cable

My garage has had my car for 12days now and all it needed was new seatbelt and a ribbon cable for the steering wheel (buttons not working) and they still have not arrived yet
got someone to see the car wed morning (selling it ) can anybody tell me is there a national shortage of these ribbon cables as i am starting to worry and might have to cancel the bloke seeing the car . the garage owner says there comming from TVR blackpool you think there any chance of them making it by tommorow ?

National shortage of parts from TVR Factory, they packed them all up to move, then decided not to move

I had the same problem 1 month ago = I was told by a few TVR garages thay had been waiting 4 months for them. I was lucky and got the last one from a breakers, but I spoke to Automedon in Blackpool, they were getting some made up and they were due in soon, so give them a call.

I got one from a breakers and 1 from a garage. the breakers one was so expensive. To try and fix yourself is a nightmare as the connectors are crimped through the plastic coated cable into the copper.
