SGR-Engineering (member recommendation)

I have been meaning to write this up for ages...here goes.
Well my track 205 8v is finally finished and I have SGR Engineering to thank for it. I feel the amount of consultancy, skilled engineering, parts selection/sourcing and finally first class 205 motorsport experience I got for my money is fantastic. The project itself was done in 2 parts as I had the big problem of engine delivery. As I work away a lot email is important for me to discuss matters during the preparation and SGR always answered them taking time to consider my question and the wider issues and replying promptly. One area I was particularly impressed was the fact that through the many many changes / additions I made (always asking SGR their opinion) I was never being sold something I didn't need, or advised to go ahead and purchase an item unnecessarily. Also in many examples SGR actually saved me money, by going out of their way to find cheaper suppliers of specific items, and passing the savings onto me. I have specific examples where companies are mentioned on forums to supply certain items, and where SGR thought they were expensive, found me cheaper alternatives. SGRs attention to detail was fantastic, there were many items on the finished car I hadn't asked for or specified, but when putting the final bits together, they paid a lot of attention to the detail.
As a refreshing change in the industry, SGR were able to provide detailed quotes and stick to them, an area I have been caught out by with other suppliers.
As an aside, during the middle of the project I needed a replacement engine for my road mk2 golf, and I got an excellent price from SGR to perform the work, so they got that work also. During that transplant, I had major issues with the supplier of the 4 branch manifold, and SGR again went out of their way to help me get that resolved.
