AFAIK TVR never got round to fitting an MT75 to a V6-engined S.
They were all fitted with the Ford Type 9 (aka Type N).

Its a type N. Early versions (first edition) of the bible are inaccurate on this point.
If reverse is left and forward (or is it left and back - its been a long time since I sold my S3, but definitely left anyway) it confirms Type N.
On the MT75, reverse is right and back.

Not sure if the N is exactly the same as the 9, probably a close relative, or one was a development of the other.
Maybe type 9 is 4 speed, N the 5 speed version ????? Just speculating.
