Ferrari 348 suspension
Discussion
I've got a GTS with Bilsteins in it, and I want to improve the handling. I was thinking of replacing the suspension bushes and getting the dampers refurbished.
Does anyone give me details of a company that refurbishes dampers and where I might get bushes from (other than Ferrari UK)
cheers

Join Club scuderia and you'll get a discount off a main dealer for the suspension bushes.
Alternatively, you could wait a few months and get cheaper non-oem from www.superformance.co.uk I contacted them and the 348 ones are being made as we speak.
Refurbishing dampers will cost £60 plus VAT from a Bilstein sunsidiary. If you book it in advance, it's normally a 1 week turnaround. You'll ahve to tell them what spec you want though. i just asked for standard.
Their telephone number is 01455 283407. More details here: www.clubscuderia.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=1540&highlight=dampers
When you remove the dampers, you might find that the rubber bit at the ends have perished. According to Bilstein the Ferrari OEM rubber bit is too soft and perishes quickly. I think QV London do a harder compund one. Worth calling them to find out.
QV also do 348 springs which are 20% stiffer. I've got them and will be putting them on shortley.
While you ahve the suspension arms out, you could also have them powder coated if the paint has flaked off.
Hope this info helps.
