CD player in a 996

Does anyone know who actually makes the CD Changer for Porsche. My 996 comes with the PCM but no changer (eh, is this normal). Can anyone tell me who makes the changer for Porsche as it would inevitably be cheaper than Porsche?

Depends how old your 996 is. The 2003 model year has some new fibre optic type bits connecting the stereo system, so may be different to previous years.

However prior to this new thangled technology a Becker 6 disc unit was used. There is an advert advertising them in the back of PCGB's monthly magazine from an online retailer.
