Upgrade history

Can anyone point me towards a list of upgrades and changes made as the Chimaera progressed through its production run. Are they all improvements or was some of the original kit better?

I don't think there's anything as definitive as a list, unfortunately. Judging by what I've read about all TVRs, nothing much was recorded for posterity. As with any machine in production they went through phases of modification, some for reasons of improvement, some for necessity. As an example, the later Chimaeras were fitted with 16" wheels at the front, not by design but by virtue of being unable to source 15" front rims. Or so legend has it.

I suppose it might be a problem if you're trying to order new parts for your car, but the upside is that your car is unique!
