Was in the show room today and found the prototype up on the balcony. Courting controversy, I really liked the look of the front, especially that little air intake poking over the front bonnet. Also prefered the simpler looking interior. God know's how they got the bugger up there though

Also got two T350s in. Nice! Back's curvier than I thought it was from the pics.

OK, was back there today to pick up my Liz so here's a few pics:

www.robshelley.btinternet.co.uk/tvr/tuscan_prototype/index.html

would appear I was temperarily when taking a couple of them though!!

Also had a quick blat in a Noble - DAMN that's one fast car, made my Cerbie seem positively lazy, couldn't believe it!!!!

Thanks to Andy at Chris Neils for the offer of a quick drive, think if I had one of those I'd be very popular with the local

Great pics Rob. I'm tempted to take a trip up there to see it for myself. Not too sure about the interior, but I do rather like the front grill/air intakes.

Agreed - that front is really good. Just like the new T350C!? When I saw my 1st Tuscan in the flesh I didnt really get on with the holey effect at the front, and a few years on it still hasnt grown on me, so I expect never will. Presumably it offers greating cooling or something ?

Yep I really like the front as well, can definitely see so hints towards the T350 design in there!!

I actually prefer the instrument binacle in the prototype too, not keen on the quilting on the transmission tunnel and daft gear lever though

The car made quite an impression on me though as it's up on the balcony where you wait so I had it staring at me for a few hours while I got an exhaust fitted.

Could that possibly be the new sequential box?

Neil.

I'm currently working on a replacement for the Tuscan grill. Idea is to get a design very similar to the T440 with 2 air intakes sitting side by side of the numberplatearea.

Work will be done from the guy who made all the stuff on my cerbie.

Drop me a line if somebody is interested...

has anyone noticed the instrument binnacle? it seems to be a lot 'cleaner' than the production effort, no gaping holes and bits of leather flapping around.

Guys,

can't wait anymore, especially after the incredible result at Sebring, which made me a very proud owner.

Just to make clear, my beastie will be a T4?? C!!!! not a R, but performancewise it should be in the same league...

Next TVR should be the T500R with the supercharged engine... Now, this car will be a kind of a beastie

Christof

PS: I will be in the UK for around 5-7 days for running it in and a blast through the lovely countryside. So I'm hoping to meet up with a lot of pistonheaders ...

Sorry, haven't checked my account.

We are currently thinking about what we can do.

We will do a modell, when we get the next Tuscan in the workshop.

Extra lights like the T400R race car shouldn't be a problem.

Expect around 4 weeks for the first modell.

As soon we have done it I'll post some piccies.

Christof

Edited to say: Looking forward to meet up and talk you into a T400C
