As the sign says:

Please Keep Off The Grass

Btw, although the clip is labeled 250kph, it would really have been <200.

Doesn't look as bad as I thought it would (although obviously there will be a lot of mechanical damage we can't see).

If I understood the sound right he said it happened just before he was shifting into sixth and that he was on a record attempt. Estimnated damage was €40K.

Yes, but he had short-shifted into fifth and would have had to be short-shifting again if he was about to go to sixth.
I presume that the car was on road tyres, which obviously would reduce the speed relative to a race car, as would the fact that his car was pretty heavy and he was going uphill. Probably had road gearing also.

As far as I know, this was one of the runs that would later yield the 7:43 Nordschleife record TechArt held for a while - not bad, only 11 seconds slower than a Carrera GT.

Looking at the driver input, this doesn't look like a lap I'd like to passenger on...

And imagine the 997 GT3 RS is supposed to match the tech art time...

Not the smoothest of driving. The car looked like it had a bad balance. glad the driver was ok.
