Well fook me if I didn't fail test number 2 on Tuesday!

Test one, for those who did not read my last update, was riding in a closed bus lane (my only fault on the test). Stupid mistake and so easily rectified by READING the road signs.

So I thought, test 2 no problems......... Oh how wrong I was. Can you guess people where it all went horribly wrong....can you?

Yes folks, I failed before I even left the test centre by going through the NO EXIT sign where I had just come in. The examiner made me do the whole test which incured one minor late indicator fault.

My instructor made me feel SOOOO much better by saying he meant to tell me about the confusing layout of Poole Test Centre (I had never been there before) and by telling me that I was the only preson he had ever known to fail in such a way!!

So... test numero tres is booked (but I'm not so stupid as to say when any more) but I am starting to wonder.. Am I Jinxed never to be a biker?

I like to think it was just meant to be this way and I'll pass when the spirtual alignment of the illuminati grace my path

Oh flippin heck Gary, I was wondering how you got on, really gutted for ya mate.

Such a jackass failure as well, only thing I can say is you KNOW you can do this, you've passed twice already!

So go get it: it's yours for the taking.

Yep it sure was a dumb way to fail!!! I even had a bloody torrential downpoar on my emergency stop and skidded but released the brakes and still stopped OK!

Hope your like me,third time lucky! My first two were an absolute nightmare,on the first one i was told the examiner had dropped his bike on the last test!Mmm i thought, this could be interesting, this examiner then proceeded on the test to leave his indicators on all the time,ok,you may not think this is much but when the examiner says in his earpiece to you,"Take the next turning on the left"and in your rear view mirror i see he is indicating right!(From the last turning he took 5 minutes ago)He done this several times and it was really starting to piss me off(considering that's a fail),i really lost my concentration and got to the point i didn't know what way to go,i was starting to doubt, did he really say left,or right? The next test i thought was really harsh, here's the scenario.Your sitting at a T-junction ready to turn right, out onto a fairly busy road. For some reason, for all the time i had been on this bike(it was impossible to stall)it stalled?,not in a violent lurching, all over the place letting the clutch out too quick way,it just stalled? So i was left at an angle not quite having reached the centre line of the road i was going out onto, what would you do?First thing i done was say right,im in the middle of a busy road here,i looked all around me,got myself out of the danger situation, pushed back to the junction i had just left about 5 feet away from me and started my junction routine all over again!Pulling away perfectly.the c*nt failed me for this, the fact he wanted me to stay in the middle of a busy road, trying to start a bike still puzzles me?Ah well,c'est la vie!Good luck on your next test!

Sorry to hear that mate. At least you've now had quite a bit of experience, and shouldn't have to worry about test nerves etc....It will only be a matter of time, a short delay won't make much difference. Good luck mate.

Mine took three 'attempts' first one failed as I left my indicators on between two mini-roundabouts (could have sworn I punched the off button too...)

Second one, Examiner in car (whoopee!) car drops fluid my slot gets eaten up waiting for replacement vehicle

3rd time sailed through whilst p00ing myself whole time thinking am I doing it right, was I too fast.

examiner said he was 'amazed' I hadn't passed 1st time!! ARGGHH

You'll be fine - ride like you passed already and you know you're more than good enough imo!
