who has got a 30000 mile Tuscan?!?

How many Tuscans have been sold? Over 1000? Well then, there must be someone out there who has done 30000 miles in a Tuscan - or isn't there?!?
I have heard of people doing 100000 miles in a Chim without a rebuild.
Has anyone - after the initial problems and modifications - managed to get decent mileage out of the straight six?!? If so, now is the time to enlighten all of us, so please speak up.

There's a chap who comes to our local TVRCC meetings with a Tuscan. It is just about 1 year old now - and it has done 12,000 miles without ANY engine problems at all. He had a 4.2 Cerby before and had alot of bother with that - so he reckons that his Tuscan is much much better. The Tuscan us used as everyday transport - it is his only car. So, there may well be some cars with yet more miles on them and still going strong.

Don't knock the guy or his car. There are many who treat their cars (whatever make they be) as almost too precious to drive. This chap likes his car and it gives him a great deal of pleasure to have it as his regular means of transport. 12,000 miles in a year is a higher than average annual mileage for a TVR. I hope he does get a telegram from the Queen as well as applause from all TVR enthusiasts who support an innovative, gutsy little car company who make something in Britain that people enjoy. With all of the negative publicity on Tuscan reliability - it is surely good to hear from someone with a positive experience of ownership - and I am sure that he is not alone.

9000 miles now. No problems.
Exhaust modification recently done. What a sound!
Only car so drives almost every day.
It really is no good leaving them in the garage because it's slightly wet outside...low milage cars give problems every time...these cars need to be driven. That went for my 400SE at 75,000 miles and Griff 500 at 20,000 as well. Although beautiful as antigue jewellery they need to be used...not locked up.
