As some of you may ahave gathered, I've got a new toy in the form of a Ducati Multistrada 1000DS, black with carbon fibre racing termi's. I collect her on Saturday and can barely contain myself!

Quite liked the look of the red ones, but figured they were more common and slower anyway.

Mines black to and as you say black ones are faster.

Very, very pleased with mine, keep wanting to go out on it.

Sent you an email last night re the belly pan + photo's did you get it?

PS. Do your Termi's have the removeable baffles?

No email, no...it's ********************** if you want to try again.

Not sure if the termi's have removeable baffles, I hope they do. If not, I'll fleaBay the ones on it and replace them with some 'proper' 'zausts!

Just found out that the termi's have 'for racing use only' etched into them. THat'll be no baffles then!

Just scratch "not" in front if it.

Well I picked her up on Saturday, and what a grin-inducing machine! Looks cool as feck and goes like stink!!! And the noise lick

Lacks the cornering ability and top-end of the CBR, but then that's not what I bought it for - great fun to ride and much more comfy than the RR, though it was a bit wobbly at around 120 when riding on a private road...ahem.

Got loads more looks than the RR when parked up too, and loads of bikers were asking if it was a new Duke as they'd never seen one before.

Will report more when I get a chance to ride her again, weather was shocking this weekend (got caught in the worst storm I've ever seen on the way back to Kent, and got drenched) and I'm back in Barcelona for two weeks

It's a real surprise isn't it, performance is much, much better than anyone would believe.

I have had loads of other bikers stop at lights etc and ask what it's like, the majority think it looks cool to.

Waiting for the Sil exhausts to arrive, hopefully on Wednesday. (day off)
