Thinking of getting one of these or maybe the Geodesy one. I know they are different systems, GPS passive site warnings against active radar detection.

What do you people recommend?

Ordered a Road Angel yesterday as it now comes with a Radar Detector, which plugs in the back.

Got a road angle last week, its very good. I did not think they had a radar option, mine has the laser unit as a plugin.

Took it out for a test and it picked up every camera in my area and a few on my trip to VW.

Easy to use and picked up the sat striaght away.

get some sort of GPS device as this covers you better than a radar detector

Wouldn't a GPS systems miss out mobile traps though or does it log areas where mobile systems normally lurk?

I use a Snooper S6R Neo - this has both GPS and Radar interface together. Its pretty intelligent so you dont get lots of false alerts off the radar head, but it wiil tell you that there is a Gatso at a particular location and that its inactive etc.Its the Best of both worlds really - GPS for static stuff like SPECS and Truvelo and radar for Gatsos, mobile radar, also does laser but you really need some diffusers for complete protection. Best VFM setup IMHO - you can pick then up for £400 ish off Ebay brand new whereas teh new Morpheous Road pilot GPS + radar unit is £800 (although offers a few more features)
