what does this button do?

Having purchased my cerbera without an owners manual(daft I know),I got a full brief from the last owner,however I forgot to ask the function of the black button that sits just bellow the ashtray, the one that has a flashing green LED. Is it something to do with the immobilizer?

Hi Brian,
Its the door,boot lock switch and door system.internaly locks the doors .
From exsperiance try not use it as it has a life of its own.

Only use when driving through dodgy neighbourhoods, it's given some people a few problems.

The obvious "lock you in" one, I assume?

Both times i caught mine by accident (the button) my indecators went balistic,on,off,alternate sides and on full, all of the time also rear alarm light kept flashing eraticaly. Did reset after ignition was turned of then back on again.So now i stay well clear.

Oh and beware the key. I accidently knocked mine without realising it and spent 30 mins looking to find why my car wouldn't work.

The second day I had mine I discovered that key, or rather my son did.

He turned it and I spent the half hour looking and cursing the car.
