Spotted: Ruf RK440
Discussion
While coming back from Cologne this afternoon I enjoyed the company of what looked like the works demonstrator for the new supercharged 911-based Rufs - registration read MN RK 440 suggesting a nominal output of 440 hp - while heading south on the A61. Looked very purposeful in black, featured the same front inlets as the Rt 12, small exit vent at the lower end of the boot lid and had a custom rear bumper with exit vents similar to the 996 C4S and regular rear wing, no fixed item. Traffic was rather dense but he sure did pull away in an impressive fashion once traffic cleared just before Koblenz.
I would assume that to be the same engine that Ian copied the spec sheet from in the RK Coupe review
Unfortunately I was too busy driving to get a shot on my camera phone.
