That's been on trademe for ages - several months at least. It's a good looking car. I can only assume the reserve is ridiculously high or it would have sold by now.

You would think that Se7ens and NZers would go together like peanut butter and potato chips paperbag

I simply can't understand why more of us wouldn't want them ???

Looks like a goodie to me

I'd have one for a toy like a shot if I could afford to - I guess to a lot of people it seems a bit odd paying $30k for a kit-car when you can buy an early MX-5 for $5-10k which will do most of the same job (as far as road use goes anyway) while being more practical and easy to live with, its only the purists who'd be likely to make the sacrifice for the extra driving fun & performance.

If you're ever in Auckland Ben, ask Roger to take you for a ride and see how much like an early MX-5 it is driving yikes

Interestingly it seems to not have ultra-lighteight wheels or, indeed, that much rubber on the road-and it still does 108s at Puke

I could do a 108s at Puke in my daily driver tumbleweed

1:08s might be another story

Never been in a MX5 either, so didn't have any experience to base that comment on anyway, just in terms of why most people would buy them, as a second car for having a bit of fun in. But if I'm in Auckland theres a few cars I might be cheeky and try to get a ride in

yes Exams on wed/fri/sat next week, so its study/PH/assorted other procrastination at the moment. Then a week off after exams before a month of field work/report writing for SURV399 nerd read argue type sleep
