A friend of mine uses Limewire a lot. He is complaining that limewire works fine and IE/firefox cannot find the specified page. I've told him it's 99.9% going to be spyware. Am I right?

Most probably, a mate of mine has been using limewire and his machine now has trojans that are nigh on impossible to cleanly remove. A full format was needed to get it working again.

I had a lot of problems with spyware and trojans. Found this website that takes you through how to get rid of them. Worked a treat and meant that I didn't have to format and start again.

I know a lot of people that have used this site and always got good results, as long as you do what they suggest then all should be fine.

limewire user and have been for a few months now. No problems experienced.

Just be careful, mpegs that are few k in size cant be real. (I dont speak from experience - just my thinking).
