Like most members, I've been pondering what is going to happen following this weeks dreadful news from the factory. One thought amongst many was what will happen when you've had your car serviced by a dealer and they are then supposed to send the service postcard to the factory? Presumably, once (if) a new factory gets up and running the service cards could be sent there, but what would happen in the interim?

Yes, they go to Mum and she puts them in your cars folder along with all its documentation.

Bit like the Libary at the UU and No mum doesnt look like the Librarian laugh

Silly question but what is the library for?

Ie paper records not much use..

I would have thought a computerised database, accesible to the service network, would have been a wonderful business tool for TVR.

Let alone as a marketing tool.

There is a computerised system but Mum has paper records as a backup, plus the cards are handwritten so they go in the folder and can be copied for when people call asking for their cars history.

The records go back to the Tasmin days. I know cos I used to spend my school holidays filing them all away.

Any idea where it will end up, ie who to call and where?
