So I moved into my new house yesterday with the garage + one off street parking space that I'd been looking forward to using (& to be honest were one of the main reasons I bought the house). I take the 993 out of my mum and dad's garage, drive it home & pull into my drive. Arrgh crunch! First the front bottoms out with a huge scraping sound, then the back does the same. I reverse it out with the same results. It's the stuff of nightmares! I was going to lower it soon as well!!
Basically there's a gaping canyon between the high middle of the road and the low kerb before the pavement rises quickly towards my drive - hence the front catching the pavement and the back catching the road.
So, before I kill myself or hire a lock up garage (I'm NOT leaving it on the road) I was wondering if anyone has any ideas. I'm thinking maybe some sort of ramp or perhaps some sort of strong board. Is there a product out there? Has anyone else had this problem?
Help, advice or just sympathy would be welcomed.
cheers.

Maybe an extending drawbridge made out of Stainless steel with a high grip surface, Hydraulically actuated and radio controlled is the answer?
beat that :P

This is a joke. I am not advocating blinging neonz or LED horsebrasses. Honest.
the canyon, i'm afraid, is on the road and therefore owned by mole valley district council.
by selling the car i could just about afford the radio controlled stainless steel drawbridge.
why do i get the feeling that my fellow pistonheads aren't taking my situation entirely seriously!!
