Has anyone made statistics and hence can make a probable statement about the oil consumption/100 miles (or so) of an LS1/LS& injector Engine ???

How much oil consumption? Did I miss something here? Oil consumption is normal with high performance engines and 200mph speeds!

I didn´t ask it because I was wondering that there is oil consumption, I asked it to have a lead so I know how often (after how much miles....) I should look for oil-status....If I was that stupid, I shouldn´t have been able to built that whole car, hm ? AND before anyone tells me to use the oil-measuring-stick...it´s not reliable at my LS6 as the guy who manufactured the manifold bend it a bit and the oil pan has been changed.....

I was surprised by the low oil cosumption of my LS6 engine, I only needed to refill about 1/2 liter after 5.000 km (after an initial break-in oil change). So don`t worry too much about oil consumption, worry more about the front end downforce when going 200mph+...
As your engine is mildly tuned you should nevertheless check the oil every 1.000km or so

I reckon you could still work out where the bottom of a stick would be relative to the sump parting line If you like I'll check a dipstick in an ls6 block and see how far below the split it actually is, simple, job done

It should have been measured when your changes were done.

lvjost? Did you forget to take your happy pill or something?
Wasn't trying to say you are stupid in the least. Just trying to find out more information about what it is your asking.
Truth of the matter, oil consumption is not necessarily tied to mileage, but I would rather say your use of the engine, specs of the engine, and how hard you are pushing it.
I change my oil after every track event, and find that I add a quart or so additional oil at each event. This is not an LS6 though and everyone's got just a slightly different engine setup, piston ring, etc...
You can also add new marks to a dipstick. I would measure how much oil the motor needs and mark a new dipstick. Unless, your telling us that your oil pan does not allow measuring from?

It does come across that way doesn't it!

Still, on PH he'll be looked after, so he won't need a happy pill

Early LS1 engines experienced oil consumtion. 1 qt every 500-1000 miles was pretty normal.
The root cause (in addition to the low tension rings) was no oil drainback path from the oil ring groove. There was 4 shallow grooves on the sides near the wrist pin, however they were covered by the oil ring rails when the were compressed to the bore size. GM tried to fix it with a napier ring on the LS6. But there was still no path for the oil to return.
There's really not a problem, doesn't smoke or anything, other than you need to check the oil on the ls1 and ls6 fairly often. Aftermarket forged pistons have holes drilled in the oil ring groove to allow the oil scraped off by the oil ring, a path to return to the crankcase. And generally have a slightly higher tension than the stock ones.
