Someone posted a cheap online SD card retailler on here a few months back, and I've no chance of finding it again now -- anyone know any good places to try for a 1GB SD?

Just checked the Argos catalogue, £80? yikes

Dave.

£15.95 (inc. VAT but ex. delivery) any good to you?

If you're after a particular brand there are more in their main SD section:

Look at the adds in Amateur Photographer - Kingston cards from various retailers seem the best value.

Sevendayshop or Mymemory are probably as cheap as anywhere. Both operate out of the Channel Islands

There are different standards of card though so you may need to consider whether the cheapest is the right one to go for.

That said I have yet to identify a clear performance difference for any spec of the cards I have in any of the cameras in which I use them. But that might be something to do with my shooting patterns.

7dayshop.com 'own brand' (ie whatever they have at the time) 1Gb SD for £8.99 plus P&P until the 27th Oct.

mymemory.co.uk will no doubt have something similar.

I had spiffing service from Picstop, as recommended by this forum, a couple of weeks ago. Keen price, great service, can't complain.

Yeah eBay is good for prices, but that's why i'm buying another as the last one was fake - doh. And only about £5 cheaper than the one i've just bought from MyMemory with about a 5yr Guarantee!

Heard too many experiences of eBay Sandisk cards being fake of late - so I'd rather stick with a known retailer for the sake of a few quid...

I got one of those (if it's the Dane-Elec ones), add it's impressive for the money. Seems to give my SanDisk Extreme III 2GB a good run.

It would appear it's not been mentioned so though would add it...

www.valueflash.co.uk seem to be very good, I've got two 1gig high speed Kingston cards from them for a very reasnoble price, hassle free and quick delivery each time.
