I am off boarding for the first time on saturday and need to get some goggles or sunglasses - what is the preferred option whilst boarding and is there any recommendations??

Cheers

If you are new and likely to spend as much time on your arse as feet, goggles are less likely to fall off..

Whatever, make sure you've got UV protection on them. You will be at altitude and the lights stronger there.. Sunblock is a must too..

Learning I would wear goggles, you will spend a lot of time on your face and arse. I would not like to be wearing glasses when you catch the inevitable "front edge" (if you don't know what that is, you will next week!!!!!) Glasses are OK for ski-ing as you dont tend to fall over quiet so violantly.

My only suggestion is not to buy the yellow tinted ones - I had them for a few days before I realized I couldn't see the dips and bumps....I much prefer my grey tinted ones now....

Yep Mungo is bang on.

Oh, and for goggles, go Oakley O-Frames.
