Our server sometimes gets thousands of versions of the same email. Our ISP is Demon btw.

Is there a shareware or cheap software package that we can install on our Macs throughout the office so when we 'Send & receive', it only gets one version and the others are deleted?

Would one exist? And why shouldit be happening?

One guy got 15,000 versions of the SAME email ..

Demon are not all that forthcoming.

You can set up a block in Outloook Express to put emails into your 'deleted' folder from certain people etc, but these seem to be coming from a lot of people and some emails we do need from them

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks sparks

Should have said, we have a PC server.

Don't think it's a Mac problem ...

Worth checking wether it is your server creating multiple emails from one email or wether you are recieving 15000 from demon.

Mikey, you can set up a 'rule' which can specify almost any criteria you wish in Outlook Express. However, as with any other 'scrpt' or program you need to be able to identify those emails that you don't want very precisely ...... and I get the impression that you can't. Anyway, have a look under "Tools" > "Rules".
