anyone used event mobile tyres??

need some new front tyres for 987 boxster s. event mobile tyres, as the name suggests, come to you with the tyres, which you can order online.

anyone used them??

they quote decent prices on the michelin pilot sport 2 n1

I've used them twice to replace tyres on my Boxster. I'd definitely recommend them. They have always been able to come out in less than 48 hours. The price was fine (no extras added on later) and they don't take any money off you until they've finshed the job and you are happy. The guy who came to me last time showed up in a brand new van all kitted out with the same stuff you'd find in a tyre centre.

Had them come out and do the rears on my S2000. Certainly get a thumbs up from me. All tool edges covered in a protective plastic to stop rim damage which impressed me.

I used them a couple of years ago and they damaged ALL FOUR of my wheels. They admitted they caused the damage and paid for a partial refurb which was fair enough. However, it was a whole load of hassle for me and half a day of wasted time.

I used them to replace two rears on my GT3, they damaged the inside of the rims with the bar when removing the old tyres - never again. This was the manchester branch approx 6 months ago

Plus they couldn't balance them as they wouldn't fit on the balancing machine.


Waste of space.
