My friend has a 2000 X-reg Mini classic (its badged "Seven" and for one reason or other it hasn't been serviced for a while (read "at all". Can anybody recommend a good garage in the West London area to get it serviced?

Cheers,

M

So that's a "no" to West London - how about London in general?

I was going to ask if anyone knew of a decent specialist in Surrey or the borders with Sussex/Hants. Putney is not too far for me.

Anyone have any suggestions? Somewhere that doesn't charge the earth preferably. I went to one Mini specialist near Winchester which wants c£200 for a full service. When you consider service intervals the servicing on my Porsche Cayman S is cheaper at the OPC!!!

Slark Engineering - Amesbury, just off A303, not too far from Winchester. You won't find a more enthusiastic bunch than Bryan and his son. My mini is there at the moment having a few probs sorted

Bryan used to work for Downton Engineering, who used to be the gods of performance Coopers, when the works cars first started. Bryan I believe was the cyl head man
