I can understand leaving the TVR fold. But overpriced, underperforming, ugly Ferraris?

What about Weissman? Or, some classics?

The way I see it is that I still love TVR's and I always will, but if foreskins takes them to another country, I wont be admiring any of his products and sticking with the models we already have available!

My plan is Wedge-it soon then Chim or Griff later

And if the missus wants a Tuscan, then so be it

There isnt an Italian car worthy enough of my passion

355? Don't bother.

Mine was too slow, too heavy and didn't handle particularly well. The throttle stuck wide open on me before the car even had 5000 miles on the clock. The servicing bills are an insult too.

Personally I found the Sagaris a much better (and much, much quicker) drive.

You won't want to "move on" from a Wedge By the way i think the Wedge in your fantasy garage has just been sold by Badred to Miss Vixey. It's an absolute beautythumbup

Ah yes, but the 355 is by far the better looking car.

confused I don't get this... I really don't.

You've clearly loved and enjoyed your Griff, so what has the car ever had to do with NS? It was built under PW, so I fail to see what a change of ownership and move of manufacturing has to do with your car..?

If you love the car, then keep it and enjoy it. If you fancy a change, then do the Ferrari thing...

I'm with you Pods, completely confused

One man was complaining last week that his Chim was now a European sportscar despite it being built in Britain, while TVR was owned by PRWconfused.

Probably right there!

Time will tell, but even so when I do buy the wedge, I wouldnt be looking for a Griff/Chim for a few years so who knows....maybe at that point I could have both hahaha!

That red wedge is absolutely fan-bleedin-tastic and Im glad to know its gone to a good home

Ive been watching that Wedge for about 4-5 months now and was amazed that no-one bought it!

Was looking at selling the Griff and getting a new or nearly new TVR. Won't be doing that now. byebyeTVR

Have had Griff for 7 years now and its fantastic(and still the best looking car ever) but fancy a change.

I loved the fact it was British hand built in the UK and had a V8. It has none of those things anymore.
I was waiting for TVR to see sense and stick a V8 in a T2 or Sag. I would have been first in line to stick down my deposit.
Even if they did that now I would not buy one if its built in Europe or where ever.

But your car has been in the classifieds for as long as I can remember (if it's the rosso pearl one), so you can't have been _that_ motivated to sell....

hehe Odd comment considering where they make Ferrari. Why not just say that you want to sell you TVR and buy a Ferrari. Simple.

Because i would rather buy a British TVR than a Italian Fezza.
But I would rather have a Italian Fezza than a non British TVR

It can't be that hard to get your head around that fact.
