best petrol for 993

Ignoramous time again! what is best to run these cars on? checked earlier thread but no real answer

Mine doesn't seem to be too keen on the Tesco 99 stuff, runs okay on BP Ultimate, but feels great on Optimax and now on V-Power.
Suggest you try a tank of each and see what you like :-)

V-Power here aswell, although when filling up on Saturday I noticed it was 13p a litre more than the ordinary cooking petrol.

Since when? I seem to remember not all that long ago that it was 5p more.

Always put Shell Optimax in mine - so would now be V-Power. It will run on ordinary 95RON unleaded and unless you're really pushing it, wont notice much difference.

Super Unleaded. Any of the main stream brands. Most importantly, from a petrol station with high turnover. Out of these, V-Power is the only one which I can notice a difference.
