G50 Mounting

Two quick questions if anybody can help
1. I have been sent the G50/20 mounting kit from the factory and whilst the top bracket is self explanatory the lower one is not. Does anybody have an image they can post?
2. Does anybody have the drawing from the seat mounting holes in the floor to suit a side shift set up? I recall seeing having a drawing but I'm buggered if I know where it is.

There is more than one type of mount for the /20.
Post some pics of what you have and I will have a look at mine tonight.
I also have the dimensions, again tonight, off to work now.

Hi Looks like you have a mount for the long box but have a short box fitted,
I made my own mount as I fitted the LS2 further forward to allow Aircon to fit on stsndard mount

I had a new bracket made for mine as the LS engine sits about 25mm further forward. The guy that made the bracket made a jig so he can whip up another one.... call or email me.

My camera is refusing to talk to the PC so I will just describe the mount I have.

The top frame is round tube and a triangular shape. Starting at the rubber donut in the tail of the box it goes up to the mount on the top chassis rail. Then across parallel to the rail to the other mount. Then down to the other side of the donut.

The bottom mount is a triangular plate. At the top 2 corners are holes so the plate can fit under the nuts holding the tail section of the 'box together. The corner pointing down has a tube welded on it and pointing to the back of the car. The tube takes rubber bushes so a bolt can pass through and into the middle of the bottom chassis rail. The tube is strengthened to the plate with a welded web.

Thanks heaps guys. Steve you seem to have the set up as mine. However my bottom plate will not bolt to the transaxle - the bolts would line up but there is flange that fouls the way. It dosnt look like its desingned to be cut and filed so I'm at a loss.

Seat mounting drawing is on the CD rom...... you must have pulled your finger out if you're putting seatc in.... good one!
